The newspaper Le Parisien reported that Mbappé joined the national camp while dealing with back pain. He also blamed Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, for the decline in his fitness, alleging interference regarding his absence from some matches.
Furthermore, it was noted that Mbappé injured his knee during a friendly match against Luxembourg and did not participate in the recent friendly against Canada, entering the Euro with an unstable physical condition, further complicated by his nasal fracture. Le Parisien revealed that Mbappé (25 years old) is also suffering mentally due to other off-field issues, including his legal dispute with PSG management over his demands for unpaid wages and financial dues amounting to €100 million.
