In a subsequent statement, the Islamic resistance in Lebanon announced: "Our fighters targeted the Israeli Monk site with 'Burkan' missiles and hit it directly." The military media of Hezbollah announced that "with great pride and honor, the Islamic resistance mourns the martyr fighter Ali Jamal Shukr 'Mohsen', born in 1988 from the town of Nabi Sheet in Baalbek, and martyr fighter Sadik Mohammed Hashim 'Tahir', born in 1992 from the town of Rashkenna in southern Lebanon, who were martyred on the path to Jerusalem." It also mourned "the martyr fighter Hussein Hassan Halawi 'Noor Al-Zahra', born in 1998 from the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon, who was martyred on the path to Jerusalem."
