The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" featured a photo of Mohammed Deif, the leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades, on its cover under the title: "Son of Death," referring to his survival from several assassination attempts and deeming him a "nightmare for Israel." This comes as Israeli Army radio reported, based on statements from Israeli security officials, that no new intelligence has confirmed the news of Mohammed Deif's assassination. The Israeli army announced on Saturday that Mohammed Deif, the military wing leader of "Hamas," and Raafat Salama, commander of the "Khan Younis Brigade" of the movement, were targets of an airstrike carried out on the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, which resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries. For its part, Hamas denied what it called "claims and lies" from the Israeli army regarding Deif's death, asserting that he listens to the Israeli Prime Minister and mocks his false statements.
