The Jordanian news agency "Ammon" reported that a large fire broke out in the forested area of Abu Nimer Mountain in the city of Ajloun, located in northwestern Jordan, surrounded by a series of high mountains. The agency's sources noted that the civil defense is facing a significant challenge in accessing the fire areas, which are spread across multiple points. It was also pointed out that in previous fires in the same region, the civil defense had to use helicopters to combat the blazes.
It is noteworthy that on May 23rd, past fires ignited the trees in Ajloun's forests, where three fires occurred simultaneously in the areas of the Al-Qasaba district and the Anjara area.
