The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bouhabib, addressed the warning statements about traveling to Lebanon issued by some brotherly and friendly countries, which result from the ongoing Israeli threats against Lebanon. He called for replacing such statements, which instill concern among citizens and visitors, with expressions of solidarity with Lebanon that demonstrate support in facing this systematic campaign of psychological pressure. He emphasized the need to intensify efforts and pressure on Israel to stop its military aggressions and to ensure Lebanon’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
Bouhabib received a call from his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who expressed "the support of His Majesty the King for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability and solidarity with it." He also had a phone call with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, during which they discussed recent developments, particularly the ongoing Israeli threats to wage war on Lebanon. They reviewed "the content of the statement issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calling on Jordanian citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon." Bouhabib expressed to his Jordanian counterpart "Lebanon's reliance on the supportive positions it has always received from brotherly Jordan, which bolster the Lebanese stance and raise the morale of its citizens in this critical time."
