Golf Club Concludes "Spring Cup" Tournament for Seniors in Tennis

Golf Club Concludes

The Lebanese Golf Club concluded the "Spring Cup" tournament for seniors in tennis, held under the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation on its clay courts in Beirut - Jnah area. A total of 121 male and female players from different nationalities participated, including a women's category, which was marked by a vibrant atmosphere.

A ceremony was held to distribute trophies to the top winners in the presence of Mohamed Ouaidat, representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports and General Manager of the Public Authority for Sports and Scout Facilities, and Karim Slim Salam, President of the Lebanese Golf Federation and Golf Club. Due to unavoidable circumstances, Oliver Faisal, President of the Lebanese Tennis Federation, was absent and was represented by Deputy President Hassan Daouq, the tournament director. The national anthem was played at the beginning, followed by speeches from Ouaidat, who praised the club's activities throughout the year, and Salam, who highlighted the collaboration with the Tennis Federation, thanking them for their trust in the Golf Club.

Finally, Daouq announced the technical results as follows:

**Men's Singles:**

- 35 Years Category: Mohamed Attaya defeated Malek Salem 6 – 2, 6 – 3

- 45 Years Category: Alan Nasnas defeated Jihad Jamil 6 – 4, 7 – 6, 13 – 11

- 55 Years Category: Shin Karam defeated Mohamed Mohieddine 6 – 3, 6 – 0

- 65 Years Category: George Qabalan defeated Gerard Abadjian 6 – 2, 6 – 3

**Women's Singles:**

- 35 Years Category: Mirna Al-Atrash defeated Kalin Al-Hajj 6 – 3, 6 – 3

**Men's Doubles:**

- 35 Years Category: Majed Abu Aqda and Mohamed Attaya defeated Eli Sheikhab and Karim Farhat 6 – 4, 6 – 4

- 45 Years Category: Mohamed Hamoud and Ridwan Zaarour defeated Mark Doumot and Jihad Jamil 7 – 6, 6 – 1

- 55 Years Category: Garbis Grabeedian and Shin Karam defeated Eli Hayek and Hadi Sawaya 6 – 4, 7 – 6

The matches were officiated by Federation referee Michel Sarkis, assisted by Mazen Daroub.
