"Energy" Ministry: This News is Completely False

The media office of the Ministry of Energy and Water denied the issuance of any statement regarding "restrictive measures" that would take place in the coming days regarding the hours of fuel station operation and the quantity of liters that can be purchased per vehicle. It expressed astonishment at the publication of such news that serves only the interests of the Zionist enemy and those with cheap souls in Lebanese society. The ministry considered in a statement that spreading such rumors aims only to undermine the trust of the Lebanese citizen in their state, a trust that the Ministry of Energy is striving to restore. It reassured the Lebanese citizen that all oil derivatives are available in the Lebanese market with the usual quality, at official prices, and in the required quantities. It urged all concerned parties to be cautious when disseminating such news and to refer to official sources before publishing.
