The actress Kinda Alloush revealed that she received support from the Egyptian national team star and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She recounted the details of the phone calls that took place between him and her husband, actor Amr Youssef, after Salah learned about Kinda's illness from mutual friends.
Kinda explained during her interview with Egyptian media personality Mona El Shazly: "My husband received a call where he said, 'You are my love, Mohamed, yes she is fine,' and I found him very excited. I was with the kids and not paying much attention. After he hung up, I asked him, 'Who was it, my love?' He replied, 'Mohamed Salah.' I asked, 'Mohamed Salah? Really?' He said yes, he found out through mutual friends that you were unwell, and he got my number."
Kinda added: "Mohamed Salah told my husband, 'I heard about your situation and I want to tell you that my home is available. If you want to come for treatment in London, or if you want to send me the documents, I can take them to doctors here. I am ready for anything.' So I told my husband Amr that I couldn’t believe this is happening, especially since there was no prior acquaintance between us. Mohamed Salah is a very humble and simple person."
She continued: "After a while, I found Amr Youssef speaking with the same excitement on the phone and called out to me, saying: 'Mohamed Salah,' and I found him saying, 'Keep me updated.' I told him, 'I am very well, I'm really good, and I'm happy to hear your voice.' He was surprised by my tone and said, 'You have a family and a home, and if you need anything, keep me updated, and I want to check on you if you allow me.' I told him, 'You know my feelings towards you.'"
It is worth mentioning that the Syrian actress Kinda Alloush is still undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment as part of a lengthy recovery journey, receiving widespread solidarity through social media since the announcement of her cancer diagnosis.
