Al-Safadi Contacts Bou Habib: Jordan Works to Prevent Escalation

Abdullah Bou Habib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, received a call from Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman al-Safadi, who expressed that "the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan stands by Lebanon during this difficult time as it has always done." Al-Safadi emphasized "Jordan's commitment to the security and sovereignty of Lebanon and its rejection of Israeli threats." He also stressed the Kingdom's efforts to prevent escalation and avoid slipping into a wide-ranging war, offering Jordan's support to Lebanon.
