Arab media professionals confirmed that the "Arab Media Summit," which started yesterday, Monday, in Dubai, brings together the most important media figures in the Arab world and serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and media messages. Participants in the Arab Youth Media Forum stated that the summit contributes to enhancing the sharing of visions and ideas about the role of media in empowering peoples to advance in the field of development and to enhance young people's creative abilities.
Abu Bakr Al-Saghir, General Director of Al-Janoubia TV in Tunisia and Chairman of the Board of Arab 21 news, regarded the Arab Media Summit as the most significant space for media professionals and specialists in the field of media in the Arab world. He pointed out several key issues that concern the countries in the region, including human and cultural development.
Ahmed bin Mohammed witnessed the opening of the #Arab_Media_Summit 2024, organized by the Dubai Press Club, which began with the convening of the #Arab_Youth_Media_Forum.
Al-Saghir clarified that the summit is an ideal platform for exchanging solutions and ideas freely regarding the reality of Arab media, adding that the workshops are filled with brainstorming sessions and that it constitutes a unique accomplishment credited to the United Arab Emirates, which is racing against time to thrive and grow in all sectors thanks to its wise leadership.
On his part, Maher Al-Zadjali, a media professional from Oman, mentioned that the forum sessions discuss the ability of Arab media to perform its message on sustainable competitive grounds, with the participation of specialists from various sectors, providing an opportunity to exchange discussions with all stakeholders in the media sector.
Badr Al-Mudaifa, CEO and co-founder of "Khosh Fekrah" in Bahrain, explained that the Arab Youth Media Forum encourages young people in the Arab world to showcase their creativity among a select group of inspiring stories from the creative sectors, digital content creators, and digital storytelling, emphasizing the role of youth in shaping the future of the sector and the contribution of artificial intelligence in enhancing and supporting media messaging content.
The accompanying program of the summit, held at the Dubai World Trade Center, includes the second edition of the Arab Youth Media Forum that started yesterday, and the 22nd Arab Media Forum, which will take place on May 28 and 29 and includes the 23rd Arab Media Awards ceremony and the fourth Arab Social Media Pioneers Award ceremony.
This year’s 22nd Arab Media Forum brings together over 4,000 leaders in Arab media, prominent media figures, editors-in-chief, content creators, and top writers from the UAE, the region, and the world to discuss the future of the media landscape in the region.
