Paris Saint-Germain, led by its president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, is racing against time during the ongoing summer transfer window in preparation for the new season. The "Foot Mercato" network reported on Monday that PSG will not be satisfied with just signing Désiré Doué, a winger from Rennes and the French Olympic team. The French network revealed that the Parisian management is working on bringing in one or two surprise signings before the transfer window closes. Reports confirmed on Sunday that Désiré Doué has made the decision to move to Saint-Germain, preferring it over Bayern Munich. The Parisian club has already strengthened its squad with three signings: Matvei Safonov, a goalkeeper from Krasnodar in Russia, and João Neves, a midfielder from Benfica in Portugal. Earlier this week, Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho joined from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.
