Diplomatic sources close to the Arab-international quintet revealed that French presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian visited Riyadh last week, where he met with Nizar Aloulah, an advisor at the royal court in charge of the Lebanon file. They discussed the outcomes of their communications, including the results of the recent meeting between Le Drian and U.S. presidential envoy Amos Hochstein. The diplomatic sources did not confirm to "Al-Jumhuriya" whether Hochstein was the third envoy to visit Riyadh after it was reported that he had agreed with Le Drian during their meeting in Paris on a joint visit that would include Doha in addition to Riyadh. However, no official statement has indicated any such event.
