Real Madrid is preparing its new offer to sign Leny Euro, the Lille defender, during the ongoing summer transfer window. According to the Spanish newspaper "As," Real Madrid was waiting for the transfer of Rafa Marin to Napoli to move decisively to finalize the Euro deal this summer. Marin underwent a medical examination in Napoli yesterday, Monday, and is set to sign a contract until 2029 for a fee of 12 million euros.
The Spanish newspaper noted that Real Madrid will begin to pressure Lille to finalize the deal so that Euro can join the team at the start of the preparation period. It clarified that Real Madrid will offer Lille 35 million euros in the coming days, including individual and collective bonuses. This offer is similar to what happened when Eduardo Camavinga was signed in the summer of 2021, a year before the expiration of his contract with Rennes.
It revealed that Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger will not start the preparation period with Real Madrid, and David Alaba has not yet recovered. Therefore, the team is seeking to sign Euro as quickly as possible to have him available for coach Carlo Ancelotti. It is worth mentioning that Real Madrid has completed one deal this summer by signing French player Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer after the striker's contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended.
