Hunter Biden, the son of U.S. President Joe Biden, has decided to withdraw a lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court against former President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. NBC reported that in September 2023, Hunter Biden filed a lawsuit against Giuliani, accusing him of illegally accessing confidential information on his mobile device. Hunter claimed that the defendant violated his privacy and manipulated the information obtained from his mobile device. He sought damages exceeding $75,000, in addition to covering legal fees and other litigation costs.
The network revealed that the two parties reached an agreement yesterday, under which Hunter Biden would dismiss the lawsuit in exchange for Giuliani covering the costs of the case. Hunter Biden has insisted for about four years that his laptop was either stolen or was not his at all. Subsequently, FBI special agent Erika Jensen received a MacBook Pro 13, and it was confirmed that the serial number belonged to Hunter, son of President Joe Biden. Jensen explained that the analysis determined that the device had not been tampered with and that all materials on it, including emails, text messages, photos, and a substantial number of documents, were authentic, all of which were confirmed through Hunter Biden's iCloud account with Apple.
