New Details on Wael Kfoury's Accident

Media outlets have published new details regarding the car accident involving Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury and his girlfriend Shana, which resulted in him sustaining bruises despite being thrown from the vehicle. The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Rai" reported comments from Lebanese parliament member Hadi Habib, a close friend of Wael Kfoury, who stated that Wael was driving at a speed of about 100 kilometers on the highway when his car collided with another vehicle that emerged from one of the intersections. This caused him to be "thrown" from the car because he was not wearing a seatbelt, unlike his girlfriend Shana Aboud. However, both of their conditions are stable and their injuries are limited to bruises. Habib added that the person who hit Wael is Syrian but fled the scene, explaining that Kfoury miraculously survived after his car rolled over several times.
