The newspaper indicated that Loftus-Cheek has clearly informed his club of his desire to move to Atlético Madrid this summer. It concluded: "There is a full agreement between Atlético and Sociedad for Loftus-Cheek's transfer for 30 million euros, plus 5 million in variables, and the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming hours." Loftus-Cheek is under contract with Real Sociedad until the summer of 2026, with a market value of around 40 million euros.
