Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, the playmaker for Manchester City, has once again caught the attention of Saudi interest as a potential deal that the Saudi investment fund may pursue during the ongoing summer transfer window. Previously, Spanish coach Pep Guardiola confirmed that the player would not leave the Premier League champions, leading Al Ittihad Club to withdraw from the race to acquire the Belgian star after being one of the main contenders for his signing.
However, Italian transfer expert Rudy Galetti mentioned that the Saudi investment fund has not lost hope in securing this challenging deal. Galetti stated via his account on X that the Saudi fund still hopes De Bruyne will be available this summer. He added that Saudi negotiators are counting on the idea that the Belgian player had previously agreed to the personal terms in a contract he was set to sign this summer.
Despite Al Ittihad's decreased interest in signing De Bruyne, Saudi interest still hopes that the Belgian star might bolster another club's squad in the Roshn Pro League.
