Poland has advised its citizens not to travel to Lebanon, Israel, and Iran, according to updated guidelines published today, Friday, amid concerns about the escalation of conflict in the Middle East. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on platform X: "Regarding the increasing number of Polish tourists visiting Lebanon, Israel, and Iran, we would like to reiterate that we have long advised against traveling to this region in any form." The ministry added that "the unstable security situation makes it likely that leaving the three countries will be more difficult." Earlier on Friday, Polish airline LOT announced it had canceled eight flights to Lebanon and Israel due to the security situation, as reported by the Polish news agency. Airlines are avoiding the airspaces of Iran and Lebanon and canceling flights to Israel and Lebanon amid growing concerns about the escalation of conflict in the Middle East following the assassination of senior leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Lebanese group "Hezbollah" this week.
