Opening of the 38th Livre Tunis International Book Fair

Tunisian President Kais Saied inaugurated the 38th Livre Tunis International Book Fair in the capital, Tunis, today, Friday. The event features the participation of 25 countries and 314 pavilions, including 160 pavilions for Arab and foreign exhibitors, as well as more than 109,300 titles and 20 official pavilions for ministries, institutions, and national, regional, and international bodies, with Italy being the guest of honor for this edition. President Saied toured the various pavilions of the fair, showcasing innovations that align with the digital and technological development in the fields of books, culture, and knowledge both locally and internationally. He also visited the pavilion of the Saudi Cultural Attache participating in the fair, where he was welcomed by the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Tunisia, Ibrahim Al-Gharib, who explained the services offered by the participating entities in the pavilion in the fields of education, scientific research, culture, poetry, and literature, along with a collection of books focused on the heritage and history of the Kingdom.
