Mojtaba Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme Leader, remains absent from the funeral of his late father, Ali Khamenei, during the second day of the funeral ceremonies taking place in Tehran.
On Sunday, a funeral prayer for Ali Khamenei is being held in Tehran, attended by large crowds and prominent Iranian officials, led by Jafar Sobhani, who is 97 years old.
It is still unknown whether Mojtaba Khamenei, the son and heir of Ali Khamenei, will attend any of the ceremonies scheduled over a 6-day period.
Mojtaba has not been seen since the joint American-Israeli strike that resulted in his father's death on February 28, the first day of the war launched by the two countries against Iran.
