Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared on Monday that "Israel is responsible for killing Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei."
Katz stated, "Khamenei, whose funeral is currently underway, was killed by Israel because he initiated and led a plan aimed at destroying it."
Katz further added that his country "will eliminate any Iranian leader planning to destroy Israel." He also emphasized that Israel is "ready to defend itself again at any time and against any threat," highlighting the military's preparedness to handle different scenarios.
Regarding the widespread attack on Iran led by Netanyahu and Trump, Katz remarked that it "removed existential threats from Israel and damaged Iran's capabilities."
Iran is currently observing the fourth consecutive day of funeral ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, drawing a large public turnout and tight security measures. Friday was allocated for official delegations, while public masses began gathering on Saturday.
