Hashim Asserts: Weapon Issue a Domestic Matter Solvable by National Consensus

Qassem Hashim, a member of the "Development and Liberation" bloc, stated that "the ongoing activities in the south don't constitute a ceasefire. Rather, a comprehensive ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal from occupied territories are necessary." He emphasized that "the weapon issue is a domestic matter to be resolved through national consensus, free from external or Israeli influence."

Speaking to "Sawt Kol Lebanon," he noted that "President Nabih Berri's position is clear: should Israel commit to a ceasefire and commence its withdrawal, Hezbollah will pledge to ensure Lebanon's security and stability."
