The Intelligence Division of the Internal Security Forces has successfully apprehended two Syrian nationals suspected of involvement in the theft of a steel safe from a residence in the locality of Seddiqiyat. The stolen safe contained approximately $8,000 in cash.
According to a report from the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces, the homeowner reported on July 27 that unknown individuals had broken into his house and stolen the safe. Following extensive investigations, the Intelligence Division identified the suspects, both born in 2003.
On August 13, the division conducted synchronized operations in the neighborhoods of Ouzai and Tayouneh to arrest the suspects. During the operation, they confiscated a sum of money, two mobile phones, a box cutter knife, as well as a necklace and a bracelet from the suspects.
During interrogation, one suspect admitted to executing the theft at the other's behest, while the second suspect confessed to the charges against him. Legal procedures were carried out, and the suspects, along with the seized items, were handed over to the relevant authorities based on the judiciary's instructions.
