The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) issued the following statement: As part of ongoing efforts to combat various types of crimes, data was obtained by the Information Division about an unidentified person blackmailing minor girls.
Subsequently, the specialized units in the division began their field and intelligence procedures to uncover and arrest the perpetrator. Through intensive investigations and inquiries, the division succeeded in identifying him. He is:

On 10-8-2026, following careful monitoring and surveillance, one of the division's patrols managed to arrest him through a well-set ambush in the Burj Al-Barajneh area.
Legal procedures were executed, and he was handed over to the competent authority, based on the signal of the relevant judiciary.

In this regard, the Internal Security Forces remind parents to educate their children about the dangers of communicating with strangers or untrustworthy individuals via social media, and to avoid sharing photos or personal information with them.
The ISF also urges anyone facing threats or blackmail attempts not to yield to the blackmailers or comply with their demands, to keep evidence, and to report immediately to the competent authorities. Early reporting helps in protecting victims and pursuing perpetrators.
