Abu Dhabi Opens Its Doors to International Tourism

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi revealed its plans to resume tourism activities in the emirate, indicating that Abu Dhabi will open its doors to international tourists and visitors starting July 1, from all markets around the world and lift quarantine requirements. The department stated to "Emarat Al Youm" during the Arab Travel Market event that kicked off in Dubai yesterday that approximately 5,000 new hotel rooms may enter the hotel market in the emirate over the next five years, noting that hotel occupancy rates during the pandemic reached around 70%.
