Brazilian star Marcelo Vieira da Silva Junior, a player for Real Madrid, is exploring investment opportunities and projects in the Emirate of Dubai. This came during his visit to the Dubai Sports Council headquarters, where he met with Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council Saeed Hareb and Assistant Secretary General Nasser Aman Al Rahma.
According to a press release from the council, the Brazilian star discussed various projects and initiatives during the meeting and expressed his desire to work with the Dubai Sports Council to develop football in the UAE, especially in academic, indoor, and beach soccer areas.
Marcelo expressed his happiness with his continuous visits to the UAE and his amazement at the development and beautiful, modern tourist facilities he sees on every visit. He confirmed that Dubai is one of his favorite destinations for tourism and meeting friends, especially since it offers everything a visitor needs, combining rich heritage with modern establishments. It also features significant diversity among nationalities, united by a desire to achieve successful work and a shared love for football.
The Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council accompanied the star on a tour of the council's headquarters and presented him with the book "My Story" by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as a gift from the Dubai Sports Council.
