Death of Iraqi Artist in Egypt

The Iraqi artist Nadia Al-Iraqi passed away this morning, Sunday, due to a deterioration in her health condition after suffering from COVID-19 since last April. Mai Mahrous, Nadia Al-Iraqi's daughter, announced her mother's death on the Egyptian website "Youm7," writing in a post on her Facebook account, "Mom has passed away.. I ask for prayers for her and for the recitation of Al-Fatiha for her kind soul.. To God we belong and to Him we shall return." The family of Nadia Al-Iraqi had announced two days ago the deterioration of her health and her placement in intensive care under artificial respiration devices after contracting COVID-19.
