Germany has qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after winning 4-0 against North Macedonia, securing the top spot in Group 10 with two matches remaining on Monday. Timo Werner scored two goals in the second half, while Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala also found the net, bringing Germany's point total to 21. Romania is in second place with 13 points before the final two matches. The top teams from each group qualify for the World Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar next year. Germany's successful qualification comes after their early exit in the first round of the 2018 World Cup and the Round of 16 in the European Championship 2020 earlier this year.
