US State Department: We Welcome the Start of Syrian Constitutional Committee Negotiations in Geneva

Ned Price, spokesperson for the US State Department, stated that the United States welcomes the start of the sixth round of talks between the Syrian government and the opposition in Geneva on Monday. Price added, "It is essential for the Syrian regime and opposition leaders to engage constructively in Geneva," in line with the UN Security Council resolution on Syria.
