Today, Sunday, a tragic accident occurred in the Imbaba area south of the Egyptian capital, where a bus carrying over 14 passengers fell into the waters of the Nile. Egyptian authorities received a report of the bus falling from the top of the coastal bridge into the Nile River and sinking. Rescue forces immediately headed to the scene to search for survivors. Authorities deployed dozens of divers and rescue equipment to locate the vehicle and recover the bodies of its passengers. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver's control was lost, causing the bus to swerve left and right before finally crashing through the iron guardrail of the bridge and falling into the Nile.
