Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea stated on Thursday that his party does not have armed forces. He denied in an interview with local channel MTV the claims made against him by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech on Monday, saying, "We have no fighters." He added, "Honestly, Hezbollah has one goal now, which is to stop the port investigation... Hezbollah's actions since 2005 represent the biggest threat to all Lebanese."
