The Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has approved a decision to grant federal government employees an exceptional leave of 6 days to enable them and their families to visit the Expo 2020 Dubai, which will continue until the end of March next year.
This exceptional leave, which can be utilized throughout the duration of the expo, allows federal government employees and their families to explore the rich global experiences showcased at "Expo Dubai 2020," and to engage with the details of the global event hosted by the UAE. It also aligns with the UAE government's approach to fostering a positive work environment for its employees.
"Expo Dubai 2020," featuring participation from 192 countries from around the world, is the first international expo held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. The expo, themed "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," serves as a fertile ground for investment opportunities, establishing new partnerships, and showcasing the latest scientific innovations across various fields, in addition to experiencing the rich diversity of global cultures.
"Expo Dubai 2020" is the largest edition in the history of expos since their inception 170 years ago, in terms of inclusiveness and attracting international visitors. It hosts around 60 live shows daily, with a total performance time reaching 76,620 minutes by the end of the 182-day global event.
