The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Muhammad Raed, stated: "We are facing an enemy that targets our cultural identity before it targets our lives, our infrastructure, our interests, and our homeland." He added during a memorial event in Nabatiyeh: "This enemy wants to strip us of our values so it can monopolize a peaceful and dignified life in this world. Our struggle with him is a struggle for existence, and we are transitioning from one phase to another because as long as this enemy senses international support for its brutality, it will continue its aggression in the most heinous forms."
Raed indicated that "what the enemy is doing today in Gaza, it will do in every country it feels weakens and senses division and vulnerability and readiness to surrender." He emphasized that "we must be aware that we should thwart the enemy's goal from the very beginning, and this is what we sought when we confronted it in solidarity with the oppressed and those targeted in Gaza."
Raed pointed out that "what the enemy wants in Gaza is not just to kill its people or to displace them; in reality, at its core, and ultimately, it aims to eliminate the will to resist among every nation in this region." He considered that "when the will to resist falls, the entire region with all its systems and countries is opened up to its aggression and project of dominance. What we have done is a protection for our country and solidarity with the people of Palestine, which has thwarted the enemy's project so far."
He said: "They talk about a settlement, but we do not see that the nature of this enemy responds to settlements. It feels capable of doing something, even if there are some differing opinions between it and its American masters; this divergence is temporary and momentary in the enemy's favor, and we must not succumb to such theatrics and roles that we witness here and there."
Raed stressed that "what shapes our stability is our strength, our resistance, the cohesion of our ranks, the unity of our community members, and our understanding of the dangers of the objectives that our enemy seeks." He indicated that "the enemy has set two goals through its extermination war on Gaza: to liberate its captives and crush the resistance and Hamas, but the steadfastness of the resistance in Gaza, the resilience of the people of Gaza, and our solidarity on the Lebanese front have made the enemy fail strategically."
