Sudanese official television reported on Wednesday that the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Burhan, dismissed six Sudanese ambassadors from their positions. Burhan relieved the ambassadors of Sudan to the United States, the European Union, Qatar, China, France, and the head of the Sudanese mission in Geneva. A diplomatic source had stated to Reuters on Tuesday that the ambassadors of Sudan to 12 countries, including the United States, the UAE, China, and France, had rejected the military's takeover of power in Sudan on Monday.
