Sergio Aguero, Barcelona's forward, was taken to the hospital after experiencing chest pains and reported feeling dizzy during his team's 1-1 draw with Alaves in La Liga on Saturday. Barcelona issued a statement saying, "Sergio Aguero had been suffering from chest pains for most of the first half and was replaced by Philippe Coutinho at halftime, then was transferred to the hospital for heart examinations." During the first half, the Argentine striker appeared to signal to the bench for a substitution. Moments before the end of the first half, Aguero, 33, fell to the ground holding his chest. Medical staff rushed to assist Aguero, who eventually got up and left the field unaided. Barcelona coach Sergi Barjuan stated, "I was told he feels dizzy. I just learned that he was taken to the hospital and I can't say more right now."
