Angry Passenger Destroys Check-in Counter at Brazilian Airport Due to Flight Delay

An angry passenger lost control and destroyed a check-in desk at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, after his flight returned to the airport due to bad weather shortly after takeoff. According to media reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday when passengers on the flight had to remain for several hours first on the plane and then in the airport waiting area seeking information about the resumption of their travels, without receiving the necessary services from the airline.

A video circulated on social media shows one stranded passenger grabbing a barrier and smashing it against the glass screen of the airline's check-in counter, while he and his wife shouted at the airline staff, demanding food and accommodation in a hotel for their family and their small child. Airport officials called the police, who apprehended the passenger.
