The military source added that the attack "led to some material losses." Last Saturday, two Syrian soldiers were wounded due to an Israeli missile strike targeting rural Damascus, according to the official news agency "SANA," citing a military source. The military source said, "The Israeli enemy launched a volley of ground-to-ground missiles from the direction of occupied northern Palestine, targeting some points in rural Damascus," which resulted in "two soldiers being injured and some material losses." Over the past years, Israel has carried out dozens of airstrikes in Syria, targeting sites belonging to the Syrian army.
