Qualified Teams for the Qatar World Cup So Far

As of the time of writing, 11 teams have qualified for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, including the host country, Qatar. None of the qualified teams from Africa or Asia have secured their spot through qualifiers yet, and the same goes for the CONCACAF qualifiers.

Currently, nine teams from Europe have qualified, along with one team from South America, and another from Asia as the host. Some spots remain to be determined soon.

The total number of slots for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will be 32 teams, representing all continents. The slots have been allocated in varying proportions based on the levels of the participating countries and their respective tournaments and rankings.

European teams are competing for 13 spots, with some being determined directly and others revealed after the European playoffs. Asian teams are vying for four and a half spots (excluding Qatar's automatic qualification), while Africa has five spots available. South America has four and a half spots, CONCACAF has three and a half, and Oceania has half a spot.
