During the first six months of the current year, the list of the top 10 richest people in the world saw significant changes. While Elon Musk's intervention in the cryptocurrency market caused turmoil and substantial declines, he remained the only loser on the list of the world's richest. Data prepared by "Al Arabiya.net" indicates that 9 out of the top 10 billionaires increased their fortunes significantly, whereas Elon Musk faced slight losses despite generating much controversy recently.

At the top of the list is billionaire Jeff Bezos, whose wealth increased by 6.4%, gaining about $12 billion, rising from $187 billion at the beginning of the year to approximately $199 billion now. In second place is Elon Musk, whose wealth decreased by 0.26%, losing about $0.5 billion as it fell from $188.5 billion to $188 billion.

Billionaire Bernard Arnault ranked third with a remarkable 52.6% increase in his fortune, gaining around $60 billion, as his wealth rose from $114 billion at the start of 2021 to $174 billion currently. In fourth place is billionaire Bill Gates, whose wealth increased by 10.6%, earning about $14 billion, moving from $132 billion to around $146 billion.

Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg is in fifth place, with his fortune jumping by 32.13%, gaining $32.1 billion, increasing from $99.9 billion at the year's beginning to around $132 billion now. Meanwhile, billionaire Larry Page, in sixth place among the world's richest, saw his wealth rise by 37.4%, gaining $30.5 billion as it climbed from $81.5 billion to around $112 billion.

Billionaire Sergey Brin took the seventh position, with an increase of 38.14% in his wealth, earning $30.1 billion, which rose from $78.9 billion to around $109 billion. Billionaire Warren Buffett ranked eighth, with his net worth increasing by 15.8%, gaining $13.8 billion and rising from $87.2 billion to around $101 billion.

Billionaire Steve Ballmer is in ninth place on the list, with his fortune showing a 20.4% increase, gaining approximately $16.4 billion, moving from $80.4 billion to around $96.8 billion. Lastly, the wealth of billionaire Larry Ellison increased by 17.8%, gaining about $14 billion, rising from $78.6 billion to approximately $92.6 billion.
