General Motors has begun delivering its first fully electric Hummer from its factory in Michigan. While GM has not revealed the first customer, it is clear that this individual paid an exceptionally high price for the first version of the vehicle, according to the first edition sticker priced at $110,295. Subsequent versions of the vehicle may face significant delays, with the Hummer X3 estimated to be priced around $99,995 and potentially delayed until fall 2022. Meanwhile, its sibling, the X2, is expected to be priced at $89,995 and is set to be unveiled in spring 2023, according to The Verge, which was reviewed by Al Arabiya. The expected range of the base model of the vehicle is about 300 miles, or approximately 480 kilometers. While the high prices do not concern competing electric car companies like Tesla and Hyundai, especially since it is categorized as a luxury vehicle with limited production for consumers, the batteries used in the car with Ultium technology will support many of GM's future electric vehicles, including the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevy Silverado.
