Serious Attack and Arsenal Defender Responds: What Happened in the Garage

A video recorded by surveillance cameras at Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães' home showed the Brazilian player confronting two thieves trying to steal his car from his garage. The two thieves followed the defender to his home and entered the garage, demanding the keys to his luxury "Mercedes" car, as well as his expensive watch. In the footage, one of the thieves can be seen striking Gabriel with a baseball bat, before he retaliated with several punches. After engaging with one of the thieves, Gabriel managed to force them to flee, even ripping off one of their hats. According to the British newspaper "The Sun," Gabriel's action of taking the hat from one of the thieves helped authorities identify him after conducting a DNA test. It is worth noting that Gabriel joined Arsenal from Lille last summer for a fee of £27 million and has become a key player under Spanish coach Mikel Arteta.
