This week, the social media platform "Instagram" announced the launch of two new features aimed at improving user experience. The first feature is called "Anger Shake," which allows users to quickly report any issues that annoy or anger them by simply shaking their smartphones. For instance, if the Instagram app is not functioning properly, shaking the phone will bring up a pop-up asking the user: "Did something go wrong?" along with a space to write the details of the issue, as stated by Instagram's head, Adam Mosseri, on his Twitter account.
The other new feature introduced on Instagram last Wednesday allows users to finally delete a single photo from a carousel of images if it was published by mistake or if the user changed their mind about posting it. Mosseri noted that this feature is "something users have been requesting, and the company has finally been able to provide it." With this feature, Instagram users now have the ability to delete one image or video from a photo album. The option to delete a photo or video from a photo album is available on the Instagram app for iPhones, while the "Anger Shake" feature is accessible to all users in the U.S.
