Amazon Service Disruption

Amazon's cloud computing service experienced a partial outage that affected some of the company's customers, as announced by the American group and users.

“Amazon Web Services” (AWS), the division dedicated to cloud computing within the giant group, confirmed on its service status website: “We observed an impact on multiple application programming interfaces in the Eastern United States region.”

They added: “We have identified the cause of the issue and are actively working on a fix.”

The specialized site “Gizmodo” reported that the outage affected the operation of the e-commerce platform “Amazon,” the streaming service “Disney Plus,” and the electronic payment application “Venmo” (PayPal).

A message posted on the investor relations page on Twitter, where a live broadcast of a conference with the new network head Parag Agrawal was scheduled, stated, “We are experiencing an issue connecting to the AWS network” hosting the conference.

Twitter noted that “this conference will be recorded and made available online as soon as the network returns to normal.”

Amazon did not provide any additional details when contacted. However, it stated on its website that the outage affected “some control and incident response tools,” resulting in a delay in reporting the issue.
