Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has purchased a "giant" luxury apartment in Miami, USA, for €7.3 million, according to media reports. According to the Spanish sports newspaper "Marca," Messi's apartment consists of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with stunning sea views, and is located in a unique building in the heart of Miami.
The report states that the apartment covers an area of 511 square meters, in addition to a terrace of 195 square meters, and includes swimming pools, a fitness center, and a studio among other luxury amenities.
More importantly, Messi's move is interpreted as a desire from the Argentine star to conclude his career at Barcelona, following the expiration of his contract with the Catalan club at the end of this season.
Earlier, the 33-year-old did not rule out the possibility of moving to play in Major League Soccer at some point in his career when he decides to leave Europe. Previous reports indicated that Messi also purchased an apartment two years ago in the 60-story "Porsche Design" tower in Miami Beach for $5 million.
