Egyptian national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, has pledged to deliver an entertaining match against Algeria tomorrow, Tuesday, in the third round of Group D at the Arab Cup, following both teams' qualification for the Round of 16. Queiroz stated in a press conference on Monday, "I am very excited for tomorrow's match against Algeria; it will be an enjoyable match for football fans and supporters. We are looking forward to this match, and we will strive to give our best as we do in every match."
He added, "We have a good team, and what distinguishes us is the spirit among the players, both the veterans and the newcomers. We will face a strong national team, and we have both qualified for the next round, so I expect the match to be a spectacular display for football lovers."
Queiroz continued, "We approach all matches as if they are finals, whether they are in the group stage, quarterfinals, or even semifinals. We will give our all, as we do in all matches, and we are ready for tomorrow's game."
The Egypt coach confirmed that his team has some minor issues, including that midfielder Mohamed Magdy "Afsha" is not 100% ready for the match, and he will not take any risks with him, considering there are many players ready in his position.
He concluded, "Pressure is not a problem for us; it is part of any profession, and we must deal with it because we are professionals."
