Indian actor Sandeep Nahar shocked his fans around the world with his suicide, which occurred about three hours after he posted a video and a suicide note on Facebook.
In the 9-minute video, Sandeep spoke about the difficulties he faced in the Bollywood industry and expressed his frustration over the lack of professionalism and emotions within the industry. He blamed his wife for their conflicts and disputes, mentioning that he had been blackmailed by her and her mother. He expressed, “I should have ended my life a long time ago, but I chose to wait in the hope that things would improve. But nothing has changed, and now I have nowhere to go. I don’t know what will happen next after I take this step. I have seen all kinds of hell in my life. I have one request after my departure, don't talk to my wife Kenchan, but make sure to treat her.”
Shortly after, his wife and friends found him dead in his home in the Goregaon area of Mumbai. Nahar was taken to SVR Hospital, and according to police reports, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. It is worth noting that last year, his colleague, Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput, had also committed suicide. Sandeep and Sushant appeared together in the film MS Dhoni, and Sandeep also acted in the film Kesari alongside Indian star Akshay Kumar.
