Coalition Executes Precise Airstrikes Against Houthi Military Targets in Sana'a

On Wednesday morning, the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced the execution of precise airstrikes against legitimate military targets in Sana'a belonging to Iranian-backed Houthi militias. The Coalition urged civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites, as stated in tweets published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Twitter. The Coalition stated that the operation complies with international humanitarian law and its customary rules. This development follows the Coalition's announcement regarding the interception and destruction of a drone in Yemeni airspace that was launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias towards Saudi territory. The Coalition noted that the drone was launched from the capital, Sana'a, with the intent to target civilians. The Coalition had previously announced on Tuesday that "the initiation of piracy and hijacking operations from any port in Yemen will make it a legitimate military target," considering the Houthi militia's hijacking of the ship "Rawabi" a blatant violation of international law principles.
