Two sanitation workers in New Jersey, USA, discovered a girl's body while unloading a truck at a landfill. Investigations by the authorities indicated that the girl who was found had fallen from the eleventh floor through the trash chute in the building where her mother lives. The girl was identified as Justin Gross, a college student, after she was reported missing just one day before her discovery. According to the victim's mother, Françoise Gross, surveillance footage in the building showed that her daughter left the apartment on the evening of November 10 and met a man on the seventh floor. As reported by the British newspaper "The Independent," Justin's roommates told her mother that she went to smoke marijuana in the man's apartment shown in the footage. Justin was seen in other recordings leaving the man's apartment and heading to the eleventh floor, marking the last sighting of her before she was found dead the following day. Justin's mother suspects foul play despite the police's preliminary investigations suggesting that the incident was not deliberate. Françoise stated to local media: "They want me to believe she went into the trash chute. I think someone was chasing her, and she entered that landfill thinking it was safe." Justin's mother confirmed that the man she smoked marijuana with told her that Justin was scared and felt fearful, leaving his apartment in a highly distressed state. Adding to the mother's suspicions, at 11:22 PM, just before her tragic fall, Justin sent a message to her friend saying, "Something dangerous just happened." It is worth noting that the state police are continuing their investigations into the case and have not released any information regarding potential suspects.
