The Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban, Abdul Ghani Baradar, confirmed that Afghan territory will not be used to threaten the security of other countries. He added that the movement will ensure the safety of diplomats and investors in the country. Baradar stated in a statement on Sunday: "Afghanistan's territory will not be used against the security of any country, and based on reciprocity, we will guarantee the safety of all diplomats, embassies, relief agencies, and investors." It is noteworthy that the movement decided to appoint Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund as the acting Prime Minister of the new Afghan government, with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, who led negotiations with the United States, as the acting Deputy Prime Minister.
