Kuwait Approves Transit for Five Thousand Afghans on Their Way to America

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that Kuwait has approved the transit of five thousand Afghans who will be evacuated to the United States. Last month, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the issue of resettling Afghan translators was raised in meetings he held in Kuwait.
